It's over.

So is the Jedi-like power of the phrase "Honey, I can't. It's tax time". That phrase holds the power to excuse me from doing anything on the ever-growing laundry list of chores (including laundry) and fixes that my wife plans for me during my three month absence from reality. If it's not leaking or on fire, it can wait. I wield that phrase with omnipotence.

Unfortunately for me, April 16th is a day of reckoning.

you can still use the excuse "I've got so much to do at the office that I couldn't get done during tax season." That works for me for a few months.

With the office in my home, in doing extensions I took the files out of the cabinet and put them in open storage boxes when finished...and put boxes on the sectional in the family room....a reminder that I still have hours to go before I sleep (in October).
