I know this sounds silly but is a tax return with mostly farm income to be filed by March 1st? I have searched the IRS website and cannot confirm the answer. Also, if most of the income was from a farm rental (4835) is the due date then April 15?

(1) Maybe, and (2) yes. The special rules for qualified farmers is in Publication 225, starting at the bottom of page 83.
