I think my program is now downloading the 02/17 update that will include Forms 2210 and other delayed forms.

Installing now.

Nope. Those forms are still delayed. The 1040 was updated but not for Form 2210.

Deback: Why does your above question have a date of February 17, 2007. Here in Wisconsin it is still the 16th and in Michigan where you are it is still 11:39 on the 16th??

TA must be in another part of the world ... maybe TDOYLE is in India with the rest of them. Now I know it's bed time.

It was the 16th here in Michigan when I typed the above messages (it still is the 16th), but quite often, updates are available the day before they are expected, so when I was updating my program earlier tonight, the online update was updating the 1040 program. I thought I'd be able to efile the stack of 2210s I've been waiting to efile, but nooooooooo....

Tim can answer your question better than I can. I know that I can't describe it clearly, so I won't try.

Nope - never been to India... I am in Dallas. The system uses a UTC timezone (London) to determine the date for the posts here. We had to pick a timezone to use or the dates might flip back and forth depending on who was posting. London was the default, so we left it that way. The history tab will adjust the dates and times to whoever is viewing them.

An update this morning says the 2210 is ready to efile. I have not tried yet. In fact I only see the 1045 as not ready.

I have a feeling the update I downloaded last night will work today, now that today is the 17th. I'll know when I get downstairs and click Update to see if there is more to download.

A London, technically Greenwich for those in the know, for a US Tax board. Hmmmm.

It's required by Inland Revenue, JR.

The UTC Timezone used to determine what date to paste here in these discussions is not required, just happened to be the easiest solution when we were putting the forums together. I could allocate engineering resources to change it, but I'd rather use that time for other enhancements like the buttons, etc.

Who's Inland Revenue? The British Gov? Agree Tim, getting the oinker was worth more than worrying about timezones. I just found it puzzling that it's a US only board, with a time zone from a country that we beat...ahem. But still love.
