I am a NY preparer working on an Ohio IT 1040. I am confused with the new Ohio Small Business Investor Income Deduction. My client is the sole shareholder in an S corp. From what I can gather the wages that are paid to him are included on IT SBD Part 1 A line 1. His wife also works for the corp (not a shareholder). I don't think her wages are added on line 2? The income from the K-1 line 1 are included on line 3 I believe. I don't think distributions, from the K-1,enter into the calculation. Am I correct?? Greatly appreciate any clarification
