That is right!!! the first time I get to write is when I retire from my 23 year practice! I sold it on 2/28/11. My wife and I were partners in Jacksonville. We live now in South Ponte Vedra beach which is just north of Saint Augustine Fl.

We are on a 18 month sabbatical as disciple in training for the christian faith we hope to write a e book about our adventures and We are blessed to travel the country in our 5th wheel. we will need to start up in business again in about a year.

I have two grown sons and attend all the Jacksonville Jaguars football games, love golf travel and meeting and greeting people.
I love hearing stories of Gods glory being reveled in others life. this is a little about me.

Welcome. I happen to be a part-time assistant preacher for 35 years without a raise. I've never thought about writing a book before and that sounds like a good idea.

Assistant preacher or assistant to the preacher? Be honest...

You're right, I'm low on the totem pole. The senior pastor won't let me preach to the main congregation because he says I run the people off. I preach the old time religion and he preaches..well..he more or less preaches what's on sale at Target.

Tom has given me the idea to write a book and I'm going all the way. I'm going to name it "Fire and Brimstone". I'm particularly going after Sr. Pastors in the book. I'm going to tell it like it is and start an anti-reconciliation movement in the church.

You'll need to keep us posted on the fifth-wheel adventure. Hubby & I are talking about doing that and combining it with his sports writing when I finally retire.
