Howdy, I work as an accountant and bookkeeper as a partnership with my wife. She has been doing accounting for 28 years and specializes in home health laws, I started 4 years ago. I was a vice president in an S-Corp Company with approximately 1 million in sales and decided to sell my interest (unable to trust my partner). I graduated from Texas A&M University and have enough accounting classes in Tennessee for a second degree, and half a masters. I have what I need to take the CPA exams, but a CPA friend advises me not to. I am taking the enrolled agent test in 2006; any study info would be appreciated. We are trying to build more clients to cover my time and would like to obtain more tax work and a couple of large home health agencies. Most of my tax works are from our bookkeeping clients.
