A client filed a paper return just before the 10/15 deadline. He could not efile because he receives a number of K-1s from non-New Jersey partnerships. He also has significant income from NJ tax free bonds. Refund requested was in excess of 9K. When he had heard nothing by January 18th, he called the State. "We need your Federal Schedule B, can you fax us a copy?" He told them he would, but then asked, 'and how long were you going to wait to tell me this?'
