I am a 35 years old guy who passed the CPA exam last year, all on first attempt. I had a retail business ( not an accounting firm) with revenue over 1 million dollar that I had to close last year after 10 years. Now I am out of job and can not find one. I have a family to run and I am losing my hope. If any one of you is in need of hiring, please let me know. I live in CA and I am willing to relocate. I understand that I have to start from an entry level job and I do not mind that at all .

Thanks for your help.

Congratulations.

Best suggestion is to network. Contact former customers of your business tell them you are now a CPA and looking for a job. Also try temp agencies. Join your state society (if you can afford to). They often have job post boards or you could put your experience and job interests in their database for potential employers.
