Hello all:

I am a CPA in New Hampshire working on various tax matters. My practice also includes audit (non-profit, single audits, hud/fha) as well as reviews and compilations. Obviously, when you are providing all these services you need a high level of expertise in many different fields.

The Tax Almanac is a wonderful resource with respect to taxes and I've had excellent success with it....and I appreciate the candid interaction/dialogue with people in this community.

Does anyone know web-sites similar to the Tax Almanac that provides a community for folks with GAAP, GAAS, Auditing, Reviews and Compilations? What I'm looking for are discussion forums that address questions regarding these matters. I've searched and searched the web to no avail.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the AICPA has one, but you need to be a member. Accountants World also has one.

Thanks Natalie. I didn't think that the AICPA has one. I agree that you have to be a member to use their services, but I think that all they have is their technical hotline which is quite often overbooked and understaffed. Not to mention, the fact that if you're a member then you have to have your peer review reported to them, etc....

I appreciate your feedback - I'll check out Accountants World - I don't know anything about them.
