Cash Basis C Corp deducted $1,600 for CA franchise minimum tax in 2005 -- 2 years worth of payments. How much is deductible for 2005? $1,600 or $800. Since he's cash basis I presume $1,600 ... but I've been wrong before :)

I don't know anything about CA but sounds like $1,600 to me

It would be fully deductible for Federal tax purposes on the Form 1120 but a full add back for CA on the Form 100.
