CLIENT FATHER PASSED AWAY IN YEAR 2000, MY CLIENT LIVES IN OHIO AND THE STATE OF TENN NOTIFIED MY CLIENT THAT THERE WAS UNCLAIMED PROPERTY(IN THE FORM OF CASH DIVIDENDS FROM STOCK) FOUND IN THE DEPT. OF TREASURY OF TENN. AFTER PROOF OF CLAIMANT, MY CLIENT RECEIVED A SIZEABLE CHECK. QUESTION, IS THIS TAXABLE INCOME?
