90 yr old taxpayer has income of $80K; during first 5 months of 2007 tp lived w/ daughter (age 66) and SIL in their home (but tp paid most of the expenses of the home); in June daughter and SIL separated and tp and daughter moved into home owned by trust (tp is beneficiary of the trust); tp lived in trust-owned home w/ daughter for the remainder of 2007. For all of 2007 tp's granddaughter (age 36) and her 5 children lived in the home owned by the trust. Only income daughter has is SS of $6K. Granddaughter's only "income" is child support for 3 of the children (those 3 children are claimed as dependent's on fathers return) and granddaughter does not file a tax return.

Am I correct that the 90 year old taxpayer can claim HoH and can claim the daughter, granddaughter and 2 great grandkids as dependents or has the pressure of the tax deadline finally got the best of me???
