| The trust we have set up for our disabled (Down Syndrome) son uses its money to directly pay 3rd parties for special services for him (such as movie tickets, airplane tickets to visit his sisters etc.) I know these do not constitute distributions for the purpose of SSI benefit determination. However, it is not clear to me if they count as distributions to him for 1041 purposes. (My guess would be no) Does anyone have a simple answer? | |

| Distributions to or on behalf of the beneficiary are treated as distributions. | |
