| Please give guidance concerning lump sum tobacco buyout payments. Pub. 225 doesn't clarify the lump sum payment direction. The payment was issued originally on 1099-S and then the settlement amount is on a 1099-Misc. as Other income. | |

| Could not get the link to discussion to work, here the link to UK site. http://www.uky.edu/Ag/TobaccoEcon/taxinfo.html It the 5 article in the list. All the tobacco article have vaulable infomation but this one should answer your question. | |
