I currently use excel to track time and I do my billing using Quickbooks. I have looked at the Bill Quick & Timeslips software. I would like some input on the Bill Quick or Timeslips before purchasing any software. I would like the software to work with quickbooks to avoid double entry. I need a software that can handle time for for up to 5 employees with room for growth. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Can not QB do that?

I think QB does. But I don't think it generates the reports to help me track and judge staff performance. Any additional info I could get on QB or other software would be great

thanks

I don't know what reports you need but we are a CPA firm with 8 employees and us QB to record all time, bill clients and prepart payroll checks.

QB gives us all kinds of information and it can be exproted to Excel or other spreadseet software for further modicications.

We have used it for several years.

I should learn to use spell and grammar check before I submit a response.

Sorry for the lack of such in my previous response.

Tax,

If you want to track each employees performance on QB, then add a collumn to the invoice called Sales Rep. They have it on there. You can then pop the employee on the invoice internally to keep track of how each employee revenue is generated.

Good luck!

Don't get TimeSlips, it's the most unuser friendly software I have ever used. The biggest draw back is the slowness of the program. Even when running it on a quad-core, the time delay between clicking on any one input can be as high as 3 seconds.
