I'm looking for a good guide to questions to ask during a interview. Preferably some kind of template, etc. Anyone know a good one or use a good one? Thanks.

Did you receive any of the following forms?:

W-2 1099 Misc 1099 Int or div 1099 Misc Any other taxable income?

Did you sell? A house, Rental property, stocks, business property?

Did you itemized last year? Did you have a home mortgage or paid medical expenses? Did you sent prepayments to the IRS? Did you contributed to a retirement plan?

If you use ProSeries, they have a tax organizer that is very indepth and you can use that as a template and modify it to suite your needs.

You may check it out in TurboTax Basic or ProSeries Basic. They have simple check list. From there you can build your own as you need them in Excel.
