Does anyone know the status of the Tax Relief Bill? I know it was awaiting the presidents signature...but when will that happen?

What will that do to the tax forms already in publication...namely the 1040s?

I believe the President is talking about this bill on CNBC right now.

I found a letter from Mark Everson, IRS commissioner, to Senator Baucus dated December 5, 2006.

Interesting reading. It answers you questions! Try this link: http://www.senate.gov/~finance/press/Bpress/2005press/prb120506a.pdf
