Hi evryone,

I am fairly new to this type of entity so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is administrative a simple or complex trust?

A simple trust is required to distribute the income, which can be passed thru to the 1040.

A complex trust can accumulate income and pay tax. What does the trust document instruct the trustee to do? That should answer the question.

An administrative trust is generally a complex trust.

Post your profile, you will get more help. What does the trust document say about distributions? Therein lies your answer.
