| Can you include the health insurance premiums of an S-corp shareholer that are reflected in Box 1 of W-2 for wages when considering the amount of SEP contributions that can be made for the year? Example - Wages of $20,000, Health insurance premiums paid by corp $10,000 - Box 1 Wages $30,000. Can the owner use the $30,000 as wages to determine its SEP contribution? | |

| Wes and Riley do on an older discussion I found by searching "health SEP W-2" (cause this sorta sounded like a familiar subject). Not sure if I know how to link yet, but here's the URL:

Not really a reference, but if you poke around out here enough, it has been discussed quite a bit. However, it is tough to pare down the search since there are so many results. | |

| yeah - I had a hard time getting exactly what I wanted. But it still looks like it's a matter of interpretation - we've been doing it this way, but someone asked about it specifically today which of course made us wonder exactly how we knew that this was okay! Thanks for the feedback. I'm satisfied. | |
