I have a client that purchased and resold plants last year('brokered'). Then he used the same greenhouse and truck to start 'organic farming' and selling plants he actually propogated. His wife does plant and flower arranging for weddings, etc. They have used only one name for all the businesses. The 'organic farming' business qualifies as a farm, correct? Schedule F for all the sales and expenses from that??? Then Schedule C for the "broker of plants"? And another Schedule C for the Spouse? Or would it be better to put all together on a 1065 since they both help each other in these businesses and this is a community property state.
