Even disabled vets with no taxable income can get the rebate if they file a 2007 return with the VA benefits shown on the Social Security line.

If I don't like kittens, may I continue to never search. Is a continuous non search therefore considered genocide? Or would that be Kitocide?

I believe it has to be over $3000 in SS; check out www.irs.gov for info.

Will the estate of a person who filed a 2007 tax return get the $300 rebate check?

I don't believe so but you may want to double check the IRS instructions.

Lacerte is giving a computation of the probable rebate since the last update. And on the 2007 return I just finished for a deceased taxpayer with $ 7000 in pension income, no rebate is shown. So I think not - 'assuming' Lacerte is correct.....
