Husband and wife are 100% owners of 2 S corps and want to set up a SEP for their employees in both companies. Is there any way they can set up the SEP in just one company to cover employees of both companies? I don't think so because of the separate 1120S returns on which the employer deductions are taken but I'm not sure. One company is not a QSUB of the other. Thanks.

One further question: can H & W opt out of the SEP? they have their own personal IRA for which contributions are deducted on their 1040. they draw reasonable salaries from the S corps and only want to establish a SEP for their employees.
