I have an estate that is filing a 706 return and tax is owed. The executor received a check from an insurance company that they called "return of premium". After investigating, it appears that based on the number of years the deceased was with them, they sent this premium. Would this be includible in the gross estate?

Return of Premium Term Life. Owner does have a general power.

Sorry, I should have specified - this is not a life insurance policy, but an auto policy.
