| Here's an easy one- deceased person received 1099-r and it is not enough income to file a return for the year, but there is $60 in Fed. income tax withheld. My boss said there is a "refund form" I have to fill out to get the $60 without filing a return. Anyone know what form it is? I tried the irs search, but I must not be using the right terminology. | |

| You have to file some type of tax return, 1040-A or 1040 and the return must be signed; your boss is probably thinking of Form 1310 which might or might not have to be filed, depending on the claimant of the refund. | |
