Well...let's see:

1-Client referred that needed GAAP financials to trade on pink sheets; used me until I got used up. Actually now this client was in the paper for an IRS levy on all his assets for trust fund taxes dating back several years. Small Claims Court anyone?

2-Client that was 6 years behind in filings....got up to date and due to a 911, she actually got a refund!! She is happy and bill is paid.

3-Client that was also 6 years behind in filings....got up to date and he disappeared off the earth...do we see a pattern here? No giving of returns until payment has been made?

4-Another client that was again 6 years behind in filings...got up to date and he is trying to pay my bill. IRS is working with him; perhaps you read my post on the nicest revenue agent ever.....again happy client....albiet poor.

5-One more client 6 years behind in taxes....still in the loop. I think I learned my lesson from #1 and #3....no returns with no payment!!

But then you have the easy ones or the standard ones or the ones who actually acknowledge that taxes are due EACH YEAR. This year has proved to be much more busy, with more clients, and more revenue but since season came to an end....the others are waiting in the wings to get out of the tax debt.

I am thankful...my doors are open one more year. If each year I get a little smarter, a little more tough and a little more experienced, then the outcome will be success.....

Thank you my friends :)

Sandy,

You made it!!! Even though the light at the end of the tunnel looked to be a train at times. So glad that everything seems to have turned out ok. Keep making them pay, because I know you're doing a good job for them.

Great to see you back!
