| Can you claim tuition expenses paid for your dependent child who is 25 years old and his income is less than $3,300?

| According to the dependency requirements for qualifying child, it appears that the 25 yr old can not be a dependent unless he is disabled.

| Child's income is stated above as less than $3300. I say Yes to dependency exemption and tuition credit. Not child credit, not eic.

| I stand corrected. Even though child is not a qualifying child for dependency, he IS a qualifying relative, so the exemption can be taken if other requirements are met.
