I've been trying this for over a week now online, and receive a variety of error messages (such as EIN does not match IRS records, current error message is "Response is empty"). Every time I try calling the number listed for the Help Desk but after 20-30 minutes on hold while at work, something comes up and I hang up. Any other way of getting set up for efile? This is pretty frustrating...

Try calling at a different time of day when the lines aren't as busy. I read somewhere a long time ago that Mondays and Fridays are the worst times to call businesses. Generally mid-morning or mid-afternoon are the best times of day to call.
