Do you all usually deduct points in full for the purchase of a home when your client meets the required tests in PUB 530 for deducting points in full? Because I have seen people amortize as well. Also, when a person REFI's on a home, I usually see no payment down, I am assuming most of the time the POINTS will be amortized for the life of the loan. Please advise. Thanks | |
