Hello everyone,

I wanted to officially introduce myself here on the forum. I have posted once before, but it was a while back before I filled out my profile and it got moved to "no profile" section. I now have an updated my profile and I've also familiarized myself with the rules for posting. I have been reading the forum for about 1.5 years now. I never posted as I didn't feel I had anything valuable to contribute. I hope to be able to slowly become involved. The information that I've obtained from the posts in the past has helped me tremendously in many ways. I appreciate everyone for their contribution.

I just recently got my CPA license. I'm 25 years old and have my own tax preparation and bookkeeping firm in Fort Worth, TX. I'm still building my practice as I've only been on my own since December 2008.

Congratulations on getting your CPA! And welcome!

I was in Ft Worth in June - beautiful city.

Thanks Kevin. Ft Worth is really nice. This summer has been little too hot and way too long. I'm ready for it to cool down. What were you doing here?

By the way, I was just about to ask how do you upload a picture to your profile, and then I saw the toolbox and the Upload File link. I finally have a picture up, but need to make it smaller. I'm sure I'll be able to figure that one out later, but how do I add a designation to a profile?

I just added 'CPA' to yours for you.

I was there for an HD Vest conference at the Convention Center. I stayed at the Sheraton but wished I had stayed at the OMNI. I went down to the stockyards area two evenings. I can eat a good steak!
