| A part-time minister is requesting exemption status for his clergy work but also works as an insurance salesman. Can he exempt from Social Security and still have other income that can not be exempted? | |

| The ministerial earning can be exempt if he files Form 4361 in a timely manner (within the first 2 years of receiving ministerial earnings after being licensed, commissioned or ordained). If he's missed the 2 year window he can be exempt. | |
