| I am a Linux system administrator in training. I co-administrate the wiki of my old school's psychology club ( it's http://yupsychology.com/wiki ). How did you add your user-friendly features like your Discussion Forum and the useful boilerplate that comes up on all new users' talk pages? Are they MediaWiki extensions? (I can see from Special:Version that you have a bunch installed. Does wfForum refer to Wikipedia:meta:WikiForum?)

| Jason:
We utilized a number of open-source extensions as well as creating a few of our own. Yes, we started with the WikiForum extension, but over time we have replaced much of the functionality of that extension with custom extensions which we have written. None of the extensions that we have written have been made publicly available, although we are considering that at this time.
