Wondering how well Proseries and other accounting products <quickbooks> work at this time with Vista and more importantly, with Linux.

I am more interested in the Linux than Vista as the machines being sold with the Linux system tend to much more inexpensive.

Thanks,

Fred

My tax products (ATX) all work great with Vista, back to 2002 program, although vendor only supports 2006 and 2007 tax years I think. ATX accounting packages (both versions) work fine with Vista. For QB, it was necessary to upgrade to 2007 QB package, and it works great. It was a pain converting to Vista, but I think it works much better and much faster than XP. Have not had any experience with Linux, but interested in others' comments. -Bob

I run Lacrete 1998-2006 no major problems that can't be worked around. 2007 seems to be fully compatible. Also, I run QuickBooks 2007 & 2008 with no problems. I keep 2006 and before on an older CPU.
