I have a customer that owns several pieces of land that people pay him rent for that which they houses sit on. Where do I need to be putting this income . ( Interest ?)

Based upon only the information you've supplied regarding your "customer", I'd say Sch E Rental Income.

This is the same situation as a mobile home park. Landlord owns the property or home sites and the tenants own the homes. Schedule "E"
