"If you later receive less reimbursement than you expected, include that difference as a loss ... on your return for the year in which you can reasonable expect no more reimbursement." Client received $15,000 less from insurance company than we estimated on Form 4684 in 2004 (Hurricane Ivan damage). Not sure how to put this on 2006 Form 4684. | |
