If the very first tax return had that many entries, what possible chance do you think there is of having a flat tax with a post card form? The answer is none.

OOOH - Does item 5 under General Deductions leave room for the deduction of Lost Earnest Money? Did you notice the penalty for not filing by March 1 is "$20 to $1,000"? Oh my.
