LLC filed a Form 1065 in 2006, same entity changed to S corp in 2007. I am filing a Form 1120S using same EIN used by LLC. Is there a final return to be filed for LLC?

I'm assuming the LLC is electing to be taxed as an S-corp. There is NO final return to be filed by the LLC. The LLC is just electing to be taxed as an S-corp.

Thanks SunGod. I had only one confusion, that in my Form 1120S balance sheet I do not have any opening balaces,

But I think that's the way it should be.

Beginning balances will be zero - that's OK.
