| Does anyone know if Social Security disability benefits qualify to claim the stimulus rebate?

| SSDI does, SSI does not. SSI is disability for people that have not paid enough into the SS system to get benefits. SSDI is disability for people that paid into the system.

| Any Internal Revenue Code ยง 86(d) benefit will be qualifying income for purposes of the rebate. Thus, Social Security benefits (including disability benefits from SSA) and Railroad Retirement benefits will qualify.

| PS, an SSI benefit is not an IRC 86(d) benefit. Thus, SSI is not qualifying income.
