| Here's the scenario. Married couple own a home for 25 years. Married
couple gets divorced. He buys her out of her half of the house as part of the settlement. She signs quit claim deed. It's my understanding that since the transaction is part of a divorce settlement, there are no tax issues or consequences. Is this correct? | |
