| I had about $8,000 worth the dental done this year and paid for it with a credit card can i still deduct it,and how much of it??

| Paid with a credit card is the same as cash to the IRS. So, all of it, subject to the usual minimums and such. | |

| To add to JR1's answer, you would add the $8K to any other medical expenses you had during the year. The portion of your medical expenses which exceed 7.5% of your AGI is deductible if you itemize. | |
