According to the IRS refund schedule, my clients refund should be direct deposited on March 28, 2008. His electronic return was accepted yesterday. If he owes the IRS, and the LA Dept. of Revenue money, will his refund be delayed? Will they take out the money he owes to the state? Both of his levys are less than his refund, so either way he will be getting money back.

Thanks.

IRS does not collect for LADOR . So no , they wouldn't withhold anything for the LA liability.

Yes, it should be deposited in your account on 03/28/08.

Delay of refund could be calculation error,if it is then IRS will issue a notice lateron otherwise it will be transfer in your account ASAP.
