| I thought maybe those who are sitting at their desks for 12 hrs straight could use this!!!
This is hysterical. You have to try this. It is absolutely true. I guess there are some things that the brain cannot handle. You have to try this please it takes 2 seconds. I could not believe this!!! It is from an orthopedic surgeon............. This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't. It's pre-programmed in your brain! 1. Without anyone watching you (they will think you are GOOFY!!) and while sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it. 2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand.. Your foot will change direction. I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.

| My dog is laughing at me. | |

| Drummers (who play drum kits) work very hard to do independant motion. It can be learned. Takes a lot more time than doing this today though. For most drummers, alas, doing this on a bar bet is probably the main source of income. | |

| If I did this right (which knowing me right now -- I didn't), then I was able to continue moving my foot in the clockwise direction while doing that... maybe becaue I was thinking so hard...back to corp extensions. thanks for the break. | |

| That's really neat. I didn't even realize my foot changed directions until I read that part! | |

| I hope you didn't try to pat your head and rub your tummy, too, Fred. | |

| Fred - can you walk at the same time while chewing the gum?
We don't want to know who you get to rub the belly. Lizzit - speaking as a drummer who has played drum set, aka drum kit, independence is something we do work on constantly. I have tried this trick on numerous occasions (before I saw it here) and no matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to get it right. You can't train the brain to do something it's physically not capable of doing. I will ask someone smarter than me about whether this little trick is true, however. This person is a specialist in this area and I am going to see them Monday. It is fascinating I must admit. Tom

| Tom, of course Fred can walk and chew gum at the same time. He can even walk, talk and chew gum at the same time. (I saw it in his picture.) | |

| And drink tequila, which might be consumed in moderation later this evening at dinner. At which point Ms. natalie, I will raise my glass and offer up a toast to you as I know you will be here in front of the puter doggedly doing taxes and answering the client's "doneyet" questions. | |

| You are quite right Fred, especially with that darn daylight savings time thing again. You guys will probably all be in bed while I slave away here. | |
| 13 March 2009 | |
| Hee hee hee. And it's warming up this way too. Waiting for my girl to get home, then out to dinner with some friends. Left at 4 today. Full day tomorrow and then some on Sunday tho. | |

| Hey, I'd take the opportunity of slaving away in Hawaii any time. We've had a beautiful week here, though. Fred is giving me some ideas. It's been a while since I've had any Tequila. Tequila has interesting effect on me. It gets me drunk from the stomach up, as compared to the head down, but by the time it does get to your head, it's too late! | |

| Send some of that warmth over here, will you? It was 58 degrees last night! The windchill on the way to school this morning must have made it about 50 degrees or so. Burrrr. | |
| March 14, 2009 | |
| 72! See, it was warmer there!!! I don't OWN a parka, Tom. And we don't have heat in the house.
So, here it is, Saturday, and it is pouring out. Well, at least every thing is nice and green. I guess it's a good time to do my own tax return.

| It was so cold here today that one lady who came to my husband's garage sale was actually wearing three shirts!!!!. I myself wore a long sleeved sweater all day, even at my clients office. | |

| Play nice ladies or I shall reveal more details of my dreams. | |

| This morning was beautiful - winds are roaring down the mountain in back of our house and blowing all the VOG to Tahiti. We like winds that blow vog to Tahiti. It's warm enough to leave the sweater off.
I cannot keep my foot going in one direction while drawing a 6 with my finger. Try it with a zero, same thing happens. You can't make your foot and your finger move in opposite directions.

| Last night I was so cold in my flannels wearing my robe & socks under my comforter & flannel sheets I almost got up and got another blanket. Did pull up a throw and put another robe on top of the comforter. Could not get warm. Needed more cats, but I don't know where they all were. And I'm in California! | |

| Good one Joan, make those east coasters, fully understand how cold it is in the west. They just don't get it. All they want to talk about is wind chill factors. | |
