| I posted a question that I no longer wish to appear.
I have edited it to delete the content, but the topic remains. I have moved to change the topic, but the history remains. Any way to kill it completely, or at least delete the history? Thanks.

| The only feller that could do that passed away a couple of years ago.
However, congratulations on drawing attention to your posts.

| Anyone is entitled to edit their own comments
however, it is not proper to edit or delet other's comments - except for minor spelling, help with linking, etc. That being said, once a question has been answered, there might be lessons there for someone else to learn from in the future. That is the whole point of this - not to get your question answered for free, but so that we can all learn. Therefore, it is really not proper to delete an entire discussion unless there are other concerns (spam, name calling, CPA bashing, etc).

| you missed the point, Heracles
(if I wanted to, I could revive the discussion you've renamed, moved, and deleted. But right now I don't want to.) the point is that old discussions help all of us if there is anything to learn from them and anything answered by Riley2 means that there is something to learn - he doesn't answer frivolous questions or give bad answers so if you just started bashing CPAs or posting spam, all you might get is booted off the board and YOUR post edited.

| I don't want to offend anyone; but I do want the discussion gone.
There ought to be a mechanism for doing that. Obviously I screwed up here; if you can help me here, I would really appreciate it.

| It appears to be gone. Thanks.
You won't have any more trouble from me.

| None of us can write prescriptions, so we can't help. I advised one lady on here one time to try electroshock therapy at home (using an old lamp cord), however, her client was a psychiatrist, and she said he would supervise the procedure. So, don't try that by yourself. Try chewing tobacco or eating graham crackers is all I can recommend at this point. | |
