| If a taxpayer owns their home, but is leasing the land "under" their house, do they qualify for the renter's credit in California?

| To qualify for the renters credit the individual must have rented a principal residence. So I would say no.

| I am leaning the other way, as I found some research that states if "persons residing in a mobilehome qualify if the land on which their mobilehome sits is rented".

| If they were granted the homeowners property tax exemption during the year they do no qualify. I believe Mobile homes do not get this exemption.
