| Has anyone seen where a client had to pay back the CRP payment? This is the Conservation Reserve Program. My client was receiving payments from the government for planting trees on his farm land. He's been getting the payments for a number of years. This year he presented me with a paper and said he had to pay it back. I need to go back and get more info, but was hoping to be enlightened here as to what goes on with these payments. | |

| These typically are deducted on the same form, on which the income was reported. | |

| Thanks Phil. The crp payment was forfeited because the land was sold. He had to pay the payment back plus interest. It was originally taken on Farm Rental. | |
