| A tax client of mine just called wanting to know if I wanted to pick up a client that is opening up a gentleman's club in the Dallas area. Being that this will be a larger accounting undertaking than I am able to do long distance, if anyone out there is interested with proper credentials please write back and I'll throw the contact information back to you via email, thanks!

| Bushmaster: what is your specific experience in this field? Your name seems to indicate some expertise is why I ask. Of course, you could have some wholly scientific botanical interests having nothing to do with the subject at hand. | |

| Other than the obvious benefits of picking up this work, including the client visits, I would think accounting for a club such as this would be a nightmare. So much cash changing hands without records. | |

| Not to mention the personnel packing heat. Some clients are harder to fire than others, if you know what I mean. | |

| An attorney friend of mine helped a client open up a few of these in the Wilmington/Myrtle Beach area.
Bushmaster refers to my callsign when I commanded an BFV company in the Army. The main gun on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle is a 25mm chaingun nicknamed Bushmaster. I like your version better. | |

| Dallas: yes. Gentleman's Club: no thanks. Too much exposure.... | |

| I'll do it only if all the employees promise to report ALL income! (sarcasm) | |

| I'm getting some responses, but I really need to send someone their way that is LOCAL, someone in Oregon or Maine or New York or California can't do this gig, and I think it's going to be a hard sell anyway with the ethics of the business. | |

| At lunch at a seminar years ago, one man 'fessed up' to being the accountant for the head of the Mafia in my city. Another person at the table began a holier than thou routine. "How could you do that? The man is a criminal etc" and he kept it up until this man, who resembled a howitzer, shouted back: "Mr. M is a gentleman; you should go to the clubs and massage parlors I have for clients. I pack a holster when I visit them.' | |
Bottom Line (talk|edits) said: | 21 November 2007 |
| Back in the early days I did the books for a couple of strip joints. I was always careful what I wore when I visited because I didn't want them to think that I was applying for a job! | |
