Hi everyone. I am familiar with the rules that do not allow a taxpayer to buy a building and rent it to his, or her, sole proprietorship.

Are the rules any different if the building is owned by a single-member LLC and that LLC's single member is also the the same owner as the sole proprietorship? For tax puposes the LLC would be a disregarded entity.
