| My first boat used for business travel: Client is a real estate agent and sells property on a lake. Uses his boat 75% for business showing property to buyers.
Am I correct boats are 10 year macrs? In Lacerte I input similar to a vehicle and reported on 4562-listed property section and I generated a vehicle expense statement similar to a vehicle. Lacerte is forcing me to input mileage to send the expenses to Schedule C from the depreciation input. I tried just putting 75% business use, no good. So I estimated the mileage. Make any sense?

| Read my post earlier about trying to put taxi and public transportation costs on Sch C on the auto expense: rejected for efiling without the 4562 mileage filled in. So I put it in travel and it passed. | |

| I was concerned whether the depreciaton method is correct (I don't see that boats are included in luxury auto limits, etc) and the overall presentation is proper.
I'm not e-filing so that is not an issue.
