| I had one, too. Must have been lucky because nobody ended up hanging in the breeze. One small return ended up on extension rather than filed. I'm not sure how that happened - me or them - but I just filed it this morning. | |

| Tuesday night I tried to file 6 extensions and kept getting messages indicating failure to do so. By 11:00pm I gave up and took them to the Post Office. I'm sure this isn't a new story. But ... I have now received acceptance acknowledgments from the IRS for all 6. This suggests to me that it was the error messages themselves that may have been erroneous.
