| Hi, is there a book/website that you have read/came across and highly recommend for:
-Learning how to prepare small business tax returns (1120s, 1065, 1120c)? I have always been in tax but in the area of individual and large corporations. Now I am eager to learn small business returns as well. Thanks!

| There's no substitute for a good seminar and a good research subscription. Bob Jennings, GearUP both have seminars specifically on Business Entities what would serve you well. | |

| I grew up using the PPC Deskbooks, still do. Pricey but I think they are worth it. | |

| Express Answers by CCH has some very helpful books/cd's for preparing the 1120S/1041/1120/1065. www.CCHGroup.com is their website. They offer CPE if you need it plus the tests can help you understand preparing taxes without the fancy programs that do all the computations for us.
TaxMama.com is a person that offers many courses and books also. I hope this helps you. Have a great day.

| You might also look into courses offered at your local college or university. Many schools offer courses to community members through "open university" or "extension" programs. I teach graduate-level tax courses at San Diego State University and always have some practitioners in my classes, who are not enrolled in the degree program but sign up through Open University. | |

| You could also check out the HR Block Income Tax School. They recently posted the schedule of classes for '07, and they are greatly expanding their online classes.
The outlines in the Gleim Guide for part 2 of the EA exam are very handy.

| Community colleges often offer courses; many years ago my first exposures to estates and trusts was through a course taught at one, but fair warning, many in the class were people trying to prepare on their own the PA-1500 of relatives, and the question sessions were often very specific. | |
