| have a client who filed 2006 married file single and took STD deduction. now she wants to change to MFJ and do the itemized with the husband any problem filing a 1040x

| no problem filing 1040-x. follow the instructions. Know who the primary taxpayer is going to be. | |

| i agree,i think you meant she filed married separate. i only mention this because i have seen couples where each spouse files single and even where one files single and the other files head of household! these would both be incorrect ! | |
